User Agreement
Version 2026-10-06. This is the short version of the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy - the plain summary shown at signup. It does not replace either page; where the two longer pages say more, they are what applies.

The ZUQ User Agreement is the short, plain-words summary of the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy that a reader accepts by ticking the box at signup.
What you are agreeing to
By making a ZUQ account you agree to the following, in plain words.
- You will use ZUQ for your own requests, and only upload content you have the right to upload
- You will not use ZUQ to build anything unlawful, hateful, or meant to harm someone, and you will not try to bypass the minutes meter or interfere with the service
- Anything you upload or write stays yours; a video ZUQ generates for you is yours to keep
- Your plan gives you a set number of minutes a month, watermark-free above Free, and top-up minutes you buy never expire
- You can attach up to 5 files, each with your own one-line note. An image is resized in your browser and uploaded to storage only our build worker can read. A PDF or a text file is never uploaded - its text is read in your browser, and only that text travels with your request, where the model that plans your course reads it.

- Payments are live and are handled by Stripe: a plan is a recurring monthly subscription charged every month until you cancel it, and a minute top-up pack is a one-time charge
- Your card details are entered on Stripe and never reach ZUQ - we hold your email address and a Stripe customer id, and nothing else about how you pay
- You can cancel a plan at any time in the Stripe billing portal for your account; there is no link to that portal in the app yet, so email support@zuq.si and we will open it for you
- ZUQ is not your lawyer and nothing it produces is legal advice

This summary leaves things out on purpose to stay short. The Terms of Service covers cancellation, refunds, team seats and the limits on our liability. The Privacy Policy covers exactly what is stored about you and how to ask for it to be deleted or exported.
